Reintroduced from the Herman Miller archives, the low-lying Paldao Coffee Table (1941) combines exceptional craftsmanship with avant-garde artistry. In shaping its freeform lines from solid burl wood, Gilbert Rohdes design was inspired by the 1940s abstract art movement, and yet grounded in human needs. The most interesting thing in the home is the people who live there and Im designing for them, he stated. Over 80 years later, Paldaos captivating curves continue to bring character and utility to living and working spaces. Made in Poland.
