A DWR exclusive, the reissued Falcon Footstool (1971) began with a desire to create the feeling of being in a hammock. Designer Sigurd Ressell achieved this by engineering a hanging frame that cradles the cushion and creates a feeling of floating. The resulting suspended leather seat and striking steel frame became one of the most widely celebrated pieces of Norwegian modern design. This ottoman continues to be expertly crafted in Norway today.
