A DWR exclusive, the reissued Falcon Chair (1971) began with a desire to create the feeling of being in a hammock. Norwegian designer Sigurd Ressell achieved this by engineering a hanging frame that comfortably cradles the sitter and creates a feeling of floating. The suspended leather seat and striking steel frame became one of the most widely celebrated pieces of Norwegian modern design. This chair continues to be expertly crafted in Norway today.
