In creating her Noomi String Chair (2016), Susanne Grnlund didn’t want to design just another attractive piece, so she thought at length about functionality. Yes, everyone wants to sit comfortably, but maybe you want gently sloping armrests that hold your arms naturally or a high backrest that provides privacy. In other words, why just sit when you can lounge? Simple, elegant, and understated, Noomi stands on sturdy but slim base that gives the chair the illusion of floating. Made in Denmark.
